    UP YOURS CANCER

Cancer thinks it's really big and clever. It loves it when we whisper it's name. It likes being the most terrifying thing on the planet. But it knows we're going to kill it. We're not going to be apologetic about the fact we're bringing it down. We're going to remind it. Tease it. Taunt it. belittle it. Run at it and make it wet its pants. cancer, we're coming to get you.

Think this is brilliant - such a great advertising campaign and truly original - makes people get motivated to beat cancer, rather than the depressing campaigns which are usually used for cancer that create empathy or pity, this instead makes the sufferer feel empowered and motivated - think this is fantastic - well done!

I love the work you guys do. Everything but this.

Hats off for taking the lateral approach, and to some extent I can see an argument for the 'it get's people talking about it' strategy.
But (and it's a big but):
    Why so childish?
If this is our best hope for beating cancer, I'm left feeling that we won't.
Which depresses me more than the normal depressing cancer campaigns.

Weirdly enough I feel the work that comes after this will be truly great.
This campaign will provide lots of useful learnings.
And the next will build them into something credible.
Not sleigh bell inspired dance alongs.

    Best of luck
